Theidea of how identity is based on something that is predetermined by someone else is challenged by confronting stereotypes, not least those stereotypes originating in corporeal notions of beauty. Through being confronted with figures”in the spaces in-between” the iewer will be in a position to acknowledge the strangeness of the familiar and the familiarity of difference. I want us to explore our own perceptions of what is familiar versus unfamiliar;what is perceived as being are flection of ourselves versus what is perceived as”otherness”.

Characters veer beyond the boundaries of societal norms and at the same time encourage the viewer to get lost in them.
